let me touch your face because that's how much i missed you

sILVER I MISSED YOU

- “…Am I supposed to feel happy or!??!
Who cares if you missed me or if you didn’t!”
The train ride was one of the most exciting things you’ve done since your arrival. You’ve never ridden on a train before, and you’ve never really left the strange human house you shared with your fellow trolls. You knew that resetting the session and restoring the planet earth would be hard, but you didn’t quite expect to fit in less than you did. Because of this inability to fit in, you almost eagerly snatched up the letter you received and set off to what you hoped was a grand adventure.
And what a grand adventure it was making itself out to be!
With your face eagerly plastered against the windows of the train, you took in every sight! Every tree, animal and stream was all but memorized in your brain. Not only that, but your eyes took in the sights of your train-mates as well! So many different humans, and even a few nonhumans greeted you back, and unlike your previous time on earth, there was a lack of malicious behavior in most of their hearts. For the most part, they were just like you.
After a while, the train slowed down, indicating that it was now nearing Cote Celeste’s station. Eagerly, though, perhaps too eagerly, you took off, departing from the train before it could properly stop, and all but pushed by the other passengers. Offering quick, excited apologies, you wormed yourself off the train and out in the open.
You didn’t care that you were making a bit of a sight out of yourself as you leapt off the train and observed the city with wide-eyed wonder. You had finally arrived in your new home.
Now, where to explore next?
Certainly, there was your own home, but going straight home wasn’t that exciting at all! And besides, you had no idea where that home of yours is, anyway! Instead, you just decide to wander aimlessly and see where your feet take you.
As you begin to wander, your sights shift from your location to the people who may or may not be your neighbors. Despite looking quite foolish, you wave to as many as the humans (and a few nonhumans) in your usually happy manner.
“Hello!”
[This was different. He would have to spend some time getting used to such a different place, and yet it wasn’t exploding with life and activity like the place he was before. The city gave an eerie sense of both hospitality and hostility. It didn’t made sense to the trainer, but he kept going anyway. At least this city was much easier to navigate than the place he mentioned previously. They would even give you a map!
… Which didn’t made things easier in the slightest if you weren’t completely used to. He stopped on his tracks with the… unusual sight in front of him. More like the completely weird girl, weird appearance, weird clothes, weird… everything.
… He wouldn’t question, though - it’s not like he really cared about it. But the way she greeted him, who was still considerably distant from her, made his usual grumpy behavior lose its place to a more… polite one, or something close to.]

- “… Hey.”
shh it's okay you see now that puberty's hit you will find these things happening to you quite often. don't worry they're quite natural!
- “…Just get out of here.”

is that a steelix in your pants or are you just happy to see me ;)
- “……
…………..
…………………….”

[Embarrassing silence.]
“Eh?” Oz repeated his last word again, clueless. This guy has some strange aura around him. What was that again? And why was it so deathly familiar? Why is this guy emitting some kind of an annoying yet familiar aura? And most of all…goodness THIS GUY SURE IS TALL! The blonde boy jerked his head up to meet the boy’s gaze straightly. Emerald pupils clashed with the boy’s ones and Oz slowly narrowed his eyes towards the said young man. His mouth formed into a small scowl as he tightened his grip on his map.
Why does he have this strange aura? And why, of all does this person emit a very nostalgic aura? It was the same back then… back when he met…right! Back when he met Eliot Nightray in the school of his younger sister!
So that’s why his aura was too familiar for his own liking!
He possesses the aura of a plain jerk and arrogant bastard. Cue in, add idiot here.
“Huh?” Was Oz’s final reply when the other male said something about his map.
“I was looking at it moments ago.” What’s with this guy? Somehow…this guy…this guy ticks me off more than anything else!

- “Yeah I’m not blind. But if you weren’t so stupid you wouldn’t have bumped into me. You could’ve just proceeded to being completely and absolutely lost and I would just mind my own business here.
But I guess it’s asking too much of you.”
[He already met his quota of people too happy for their own good, complete idiots and optimists. Only a load of bullshit that he didn’t believe in. He had a few friends (that he would never classify them as, never. Believe me, Silver would rather die than admit that Hibiki is his friend - or something more, even).
He wasn’t a plain jerk and an arrogant bastart.
Just a jerk. Sometimes. There were a few people who earned his respect, but they were either lucky or they had to shake Silver until they could pass down their thoughts unto him. Who knows.]
Tilting his head to the side and looking all curious, the blonde boy’s eyes roamed all around the place he was new of. This place—the surroundings, the places and the faces we’re all foreign…all new. Not a single hint of something he knew of can be seen around. He was alone. He was all alone in this place. People didn’t know who he is or who he was. Nobody knew he’s a noble and from an aristocrat family. His valet and comrades were not here, he was all by himself. At least, that’s what he still thinks right now.
W-whooahh— So…many…new…faces..! He murmured under his breathe while roaming his emerald orbs around, mouth slightly ajar. Raising his other hand in a salute manner, grinning widely and still continuing to look around, Oz stifled a chuckle as he started a slow paced walk. And to top it all, he still didn’t reach his place. He still didn’t arrive in Comely Court.
Instead of looking for his place, Oz decided to take a short stroll in the town. The weather’s cool and it seemed like a very normal and peaceful place…at the time being. The blonde still didn’t know what are the rules and regulations of this place and he’s also vulnerable of what the circumstances and chances of his fortune in here are. He breathed in some fresh air and breathed out after a few seconds. The soft wind blowing his blonde hair and rubbing against his cheeks, making his pale skin tinge with light pink. The temperature’s not warm and also not that cold. It’s moderate and cool.
“Hehh, it seems like it’ll be a nice day today! Ah, I hope Alice is here with me! Gil would love this place also..~”
“I really want to see the whole place!” B-but…I still need to find Comely Court! Where is Comely Court anyway…? He groaned then sighed internally.
With that little rant and a smile that never faltered, the blonde boy skipped his way through the crowd of people, slowly blending in between the throng of bodies that’s moving. If he was not wrong, he was at a market. And wait, which part of this town was the market? In what particular direction? He brought out his map and opened it, trying to locate where he currently standing is. Oz continued like that. He walked and walked and looked around then back at the map, other hand swaying while the other, holding the map in place and boots clicking on the ground. It was a beautiful day so why waste it? He can’t have tea or even eat sweets at the moment so a good peaceful walk and of course—searching for where he located is would be just fine.
That’s only until he bumped into someone.
Was it even human or what? It’s soft and human-like yet you can distinguish it from being a soft pillow and a hard chest.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t see yo—”
“Eh?”
- “Watch your step.”

[Because HE was the one who usually did the bumping - in order to stop others from advancing or when he wanted to prov— well it didn’t matter. This one bumped right into him because uuh…
Let’s think about reasons? He was an idiot? Too happy for his own good? Idiot? Idiot? Idiot? Idiot, check. It was the only reason that could come to the boy’s mind right now and he didn’t want to think about others, maybe because Silver was as lost as Oz was. Noble family or not (even if he didn’t really look like so, honestly), it didn’t matter when they were at this city. Not that he knew about the blonde’s status, but if he did he would just ignore this anyway.]
- “No, more like… what where are you going instead of looking at your stupid map.”
[Delicate like an elephant, like always.]
Hello, everyone!!
I’d like to direct your attention to me for just a second!!
[ Shouichi is trying to capture the attention of those in the near vicinity of him, right smack dab in the middle of the general town, at least where many of the streets seem to converge together. He’s with a few, small, bumbling robots that look nothing humanoid and were completely made from what looks like… junk, and scrap metal. Stuff you’d probably find tossed aside in an alleyway or in a dumpster. Screw the question of how he’d even make a working robot from such supplies. Where have you even been sticking your nose, Shouichi?
He clears his throat, a bit nervous to gather attention upon him, but hey, he thought this might be a good idea. ]
In light of many people having mysteriously lost their travel brochures or not have gotten one thus giving them trouble upon their first arrival here… I have built a robot to help you in finding your way around the island, especially your the street of where your living quarters are located.
You should find it of good use.
O-Of course, it’s still in the alpha stage… so there’s still a little kinks to get worked out…
[ Meaning—anyone who takes one, there may be a minor glitch when telling the little robot the location of where to lead you to…
In the middle of one of the testing stages, one of the robots went into the beach, and was destroyed by ferocious crabs. Shouichi had chased after it when it went off course but um… It was a little too late to save it. ]
But! It should still at least be helpful!

[And whatever he was doing (nothing) was interrupted by the sound of someone talking really loud, probably to get the attention of people close to him — which he did with Silver, plus making him slightly annoyed…
… And a few seconds listening to that load of crap made he regret his decision entirely. A robot, really? (These things didn’t EVEN LOOKED LIKE ROBOTS GOD DAMN IT)
It was more like this guy found things in the middle of the trash and worked his magic.
… Which he probably did.]

- “Oookay. So you’re basically saying “HERE I FOUND THIS USELESS SHIT AND DID SOMETHING THAT I WANT SOME IDIOT TO TEST OUT.
NOT MY FAULT IF THIS EXPLODES ON YOUR FACE OKAY BYE”…
…
……….
………………
……………………”

- “…Are you really thinking this will work out.”
“It doesn’t take much to guess. Boys your age are easily bored,” she said, barely meeting his gaze. Her head kept turning back to the train station as she spoke, still waiting for the next engine to arrive.
“It’s this town, isn’t it? The whole situation you’re in, you don’t think it’s necessary. You’d rather be out in the real world doing… well, Mother knows what. I don’t really care, either.” There was a brief silence; Valentine could have sworn she heard a train whistle off in the distance. Or was it just her imagination? ”There’s a difference between confidence and cockiness. If you can prove me wrong, then do it. I’m sure my ego will survive.”
It was a challenge, and the woman had a feeling the red-haired boy wouldn’t be able to resist.

- “I’m not entirely sure what you are trying to do but you’re wasting your precious time.”
[This was either bad luck, karma, or he was fated to run into trouble every goddamn 5 seconds. This woman kept challenging him, maybe mocking him a little, and hotheaded that he was, he would not turn her down.
But past experience did show to him that he needed others - or at least the information they could give to him. He wasn’t interested in meaningless conversation - and even if he had the desire to go back home, again he wasn’t sure that people would be there. They weren’t when he came back first. So maybe he should stick along to this place - these things worked their mysterious ways, so they probably would arrive soon… if they didn’t, well, who cares!]
- “Yeah, you got it right. Bingo. You’re the smartest person alive. Do you want a medal? Some kind of a prize? A trophy?”
